Samantha Casella is defined a visionary director, projected to investigate the dark side that dwells in the hearts and minds of her characters.
Her style leads to a journey through the unconscious, where the atmospheres recall a pictorial universe full of mystery and darkness.
Her versatility extended to writing, photography and, in the recent phase of her career, even to acting.
She won several awards for her short films in many International Film Festival and has directed some wide-ranging documentaries. “Santa Guerra” is her debuted in the feature film. It is presented for a preview at 79 Venice International Film Festival.
