Al suo esordio nel carismatico TCL Chinese Theatre di Los Angeles in occasione del Golden State Film Festival, “I Am Banksy” vince Best International Short. Nel marzo 2019 Samantha Casella viene premiata come miglior regista al Gulf of Naples Film Festival. Dopo un premio come Best Sound Design al Silicon Beach Film Festival, nel luglio 2019 il cortometraggio vince Best Mistery Short al Olympus Film Festival di Los Angeles. Conseguiti due premi minori al Festival di Nettuno; il 24 agosto 2019 vince Best Foreign Short al Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Award. A settembre arrivano altri due premi in California come Best International Short; prima al Los Angeles Theatrical Release Competition & Award, poi al Marina del Rey Film Festival. Se l’Italia offre in dono al cortometraggio una Menzione Speciale al Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Salerno; in Germania, al Berlin Underground Film Festival, Samantha Casella vince un premio alla regia. La regista vince poi un Award of Excellence al Accolade Global Film Competition, evento che ha spesso visto trionfare vincitori di Oscar e Golden Globes. Un Award of Excellence, lo vince anche il cortometraggio al Cinemagic Film Festival di Greenville. Infine, al prestigioso Vegas Movie Awards, Massimiliano Lazzaretti vince Best Original Score, mentre Samantha Casella un Award of Merit come miglior regia per un totale di 15 premi.
